From the start, you will meet with our Operations, Marketing, and Finance professionals for a complete overview of our services. Once your Franchise/Location is established, we'll conduct annual business reviews to chart your progress, and suggest opportunities and recommendations for the upcoming year. We are also available for progress meetings and updates throughout the year as needed.
Staffing - Professional staffing and interviewing, background checks and on-going performance evaluations are combined with training, regulatory compliance, Management/Assistant Management training for advancement and staff development to create a winning team.
Point-of-purchase management - Windows, shelf, and display fixtures, store design, and complete point-of-purchase system setup and maintenance.
Inventory - 'Spaceman' technology software for shelf sets, increased product movement, and profitability, complete bi-annual store inventory evaluation, and ongoing control audits. We are the only Wine & Spirits retailer on the east coast with the 'Spaceman' system (used by Coca-Cola and Proctor & Gamble) in place.
Conduct demographic studies to ensure proper mix and competitive activity.
Produce advertising layouts, design and programs for high impact campaigns.
Supplier and Wholesaler meeting for product introductions & quarterly business reviews.
Education to expand product knowledge, sales techniques, merchandising and classes with expert guest speakers.
Schedule promotions including Seminars, open to the public with tastings and expert educators.

In September of 1974, Wine & Spirits Retail Marketing, Inc. President, John Haronian, opened his first liquor store, Douglas Liquors in North Providence. John founded a franchising company, Wine & Spirits Retail Marketing, Inc. that franchises three models – The Douglas Group, People's Liquor Warehouse, and Wines & More of North America.
Now, with over 20 locations, Wine & Spirits Retail Marketing, Inc. is considered one of the fastest growing companies of its kind in the industry.
